Has anyone ever lost 60 lbs in 6-8 months?
Question:
Answers:
I went from 186 lbs to right now 144 lbs, and it took around 3 months.
I eat healthy, no more fatty foods. Most of my calories come from fruits and veggies.
I started exercising by jump skipping 3 days a week a week 30 minute sessions, and now do jump skipping / swimming 6-7 days a week for 25-30 minutes.
Not sure how many pant sizes i've lost, but i had to go buy a completely new wardrobe because my old pants would fall off my *** even with a belt , i think that says enough
build muscle. it'll take your extra fat.(fat that didn't get burn)
i don't exactly remember how.
drink lots of water, eat nuts and raisins to increase metabolism
workout.
eat healthy.
eat slowly, because it takes awhile for food to digest, so
it takes awhile to be full after eating.
eating slowly will allow you to know when you're full to eat less.
don't sit in front of the tv while eating.
also allow your body to tell you when you're hungry, when it growls, eat.
do aerobic exercises
do 2 30min exercises then have a 20 min break you'll lose more wight than not taking breaks at all
play music that you enjoy, or music that makes you feel like dancing to you'll exercise more/longer
you can run in one place for 15 min per day or more.
or run up and downstairs. or jog/run/walk around your block.
then slowly increase the time, by 5 min per day.
and if you're gonna do sit-ups, cutches, pull=ups, etc. add 10 per day
starving will get you skinnier but at the end of it when you eat normally again your body will be saving it,
and you'll gain weight faster
like bears saving their food for the winter.
all these have been proven true

i lose 3 pants sizes
family doctor's experience:
this would be very unhealthy because the body is used to your current weight, and your body needs time to adapt the dramatic change in weight (calorie intake, usable energy, fat insulation, calories being used, etc)
slow and steady wins the race in weight loss
I beat that, but I did it in a VERY unhealthy way years ago and am still paying the price (slow metabolism, hard to lose weight). I lost nearly 90 lbs in 6 months or so...I wouldn't recommend it. I went from a size 22 to a size 8.
The best way to lose weight and keep it off is to eat a healthy well balanced diet and exercise regularly. No magic bullets, no losing huge amounts of weight in short periods of time IF you want to keep it off. I fight continuously to keep extra pounds from coming back...I can smell food and gain weight (or it feels like it).
Learn the lessons from those of us who did the stupid things to lose weight and will pay for that long term...do it once and do it right.
yes i did...after the birth of my second child i went from a size 22 to a 10..took about 8 months..all i did..was richard simmons tapes once a day...some tonning with free weights,,and i ate as many fruits and veggies a day till i was full.i only had red meat once a week and when i ate meals i ate them off the small size plates...i drank a ton of water..no soda or anything else...and once in awhile i did treat myself but it was small..a small plain cone,,,1 handful of chips...just for a taste and i didnt over due it...as i lost weaight and i felt better i then joined a gym to step up my workout..if i can do it so cant you!!!!.
It's really not a good idea to loose weight that fast. It's not very healthy because you would be starving your self and that will cause some health problems. And not only that, you would have some sagging skin "tummy tuck" after loosing that much that fast. That happend to my cousin.
