Which exercise for losing fat in the arms? (without becoming bulky)?

Question:
I was thinking about using weights, but I'd like my arms to become thinner not bulkier. Any suggestions or useful url's anyone may have for me would be greatly appreciated!

Answers:
In order for your arms to become bulkier, you need to overload them to induce hypertrophy. And in order to do that, you need more calories, hormones, and a strong desire to get those arms. With all that said, you have no need to fear. The best way to reduce fat is by high intensity workouts such as cardio. You cannot spot reduce. In order to lose fat from your arms, you need to lose fat everywhere.
Okay, you'd think that lifting weights will make you even bulkier like Hulk Hogan, but that's actually not true if you're a girl, unless you eat massive amounts of protein and you take testosterone. So go ahead lift those weights, but in moderation. Instead of becoming bulkier, you'll probably become more toned rather than flabby.

Remember, it's also a good idea to eat healthier, too!
I was worried about the same thing with my arms. I've always had "baby fat" on my arms and i've started to lift weights in the past 7 months. Most people think that lifting weights makes your arms bulkier...but the truth is that when you use lighter weights and high repititions you actually tone your muscles. I've noticed that you can see my arm muscles more now and that actually makes them look smaller. Also weight lifting helps build muslce which helps burn the arm fat. I understand completly why you would be worried.but trust me on this one. I've actually had success with this. Hopefully everything goes good. Believe it or not you cannot actually spot reduce fat. In order to lose fat you have to exercise and eat well. This means at least 30 minutes of cardio-exercises a day (things that get your heart rate up for 30 minutes, ie. running, walking briskly, biking actively, if your heart rate isn't up you're not doing it hard enough.

Eating well means planning out a diet that is well balanced and nutritious. This really varies from person to person, and the best way to figure this out is to get your doctor to refer you to a nutritionist.

The reason people think they're losing weight just by repeating one exercise over and over again is because the exercise is working, it is toning the muscle, and perhaps you're doing it enough to burn some fat, but it's not specifically from that spot, it's in general.

Weight loss is really a life style commitment, you have to make a lifetime commitment to your diet and exercise. This means once you lose the weight you can't go cramming your face again, so you should choose a diet that keeps you healthy but fits your tastes permenantly. Also you need to exercise regularly. Even if that means 1hr Mon Tue Thurs Fri, with perhaps a sport on Wed. Take the weekend off. You could then break that hour up into 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight training, or just an hour of a sport thats active, like soccor or football, or rugby, or basketball, etc.

So that's how you lose weight in your arms.
spot reduction is a myth you can not control where you burn fat your body chooses that for you running will burn fat but it will not come from your arms alone rather your whole body will become thinner
