Sore muscles, can I walk while they heal?

Question:
My whole stomach area is sore from all the crunches I did, as well as my calves from this leg machine. My calves hurt when I walk but I can't take a break from burning fat... it's a routine I have that I cant get off of. So can I walk (not fast, but briskly) and still let my muscles heal, or will walking interupt the healing process and take longer? It's been a day and I need to go back to moving or else I'm going to gain weight lol

Answers:
usually you're suppose to take a day off to cool down. I noticed that if I'm sore after that working out again is the only cure.
you definately need to take a break now and then with any exercise routine to give your muscles a rest. if you dont rest them, they could tear. Ouch!
Yes you can walk while they heal, just don't overdo it like you're (obviously) doing. Take it easy.
You should start alternating days when you take a break and then another day you start walking.

Don't forget to stretch before you have vigorous exercise.
