Height Growth Pills?

Question:

My health teacher once made a quick comment about doctors being able to prescribe height growth pills. Is this true? Do they work? Can they be bought over the counter as well?

I've never heard of such pills and common sense would tell me this isn't true at all.

I have heard of stretching surgeries to make someone taller, but obviously one would need a legitimate medical problem such as dwarfism...as this procedure is quite serious and rather painful...

No, this is not true.

It is all up to your genetics. So thank your mom, dad and grandparents for your height. There is no such thing as height pills. People would buying those things like crazy if they existed.

Ask the same teacher or a doc.
