But recent studies have shown that intense interval training, such as doing 4-8 sets of 30 seconds sprints and resting for 60 seconds in between burn more than twice as much fat than low intensity long cardio workouts. Search interval training for fat loss. You'll find a lot that might help you. Also what we eat is more important that how we workout. Make note over a week of how much bread, pasta, sugar, or sodas you consume. Those are the things that keep our fat on. If you do those things, you could easily shed 2-3 pounds a week. i have been doing that too, and after 5 months ive lost 10 pounds, but you hae to eat healthy, like apples instead of a pastry, water insteads of soda, grapes instead of a muffin, milk instead of sports drink, and trust me, it will work

Doing crunches works and tightens the abs but does little for the
fat covering them.
You can have the strongest abs in the world and be doing 1000 crunches a day without breaking a sweat but if you have some belly fat over them you will never see them.
If you want them to show, you need to do cardio.
