Low-calorie diet question?

Question:
When losing weight, is it best to zig-zag with the calories such as eating 1200 one day, 1350 the next day, etc? Or should I eat 1200 calories straight for several days to lose weight, or will my body get used to it?

I'm a female who has already lost some weight through low-calorie diet, but nothing else has been happening for the past 3 weeks...I've been trying to drop the last several pounds, but it's even more difficult than ever. I know 1200 is the lowest you can go for a female, which is considered still healthy.

P.S. I work out too...even do the working out on an empty stomach thing.

Answers:
It is a headache to count calories, measure carbs, fats and sugar for every meal.

Just eat only complex carbs, lean meat, and lots of veggies. It will make your meals low caloried and yet filling and healthy.

I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.

Details such as my experience, meals, recipes, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.

1200 isnt the absolute lowest actually, my trainer told a couple girls I know they can go down to 1000 calories, but no lower. 1000 is the absolute lowest.

Despite what someone else who let a comment for you says, the best way is to count calories, you get better results that way.

You should keep your calories steady, but cheat once a week. Dont go crazy when you cheat, just cheat for one meal. If your going to consume 1200 calories normally, do 1700 that one day.

When you do the workout on an empty stomach, you have no energy to workout. Your workouts will be poor workouts. You should have complex carbs before your workouts which will give you energy throughout your workouts. Then do cardio after your workouts.

Now about losing the last few pounds... Change up your cardio if you want to lose the last few pounds. Make it more intense or use a different machine. You could also look into HIIT (look it up) or jumproping. Both are the best things to do to lose the last few pounds.

Also as someone else already mentioned, only have lean meats, consume complex carbs only (except after your workouts only if you take a protein shake), and have lots of vegetables.
there's not a big difference between 1200 and 1350 calories
one work out with food in your somach because food increases metabloism so with that and working out youy burn more calories two i eat 1200 calories a day everyday and sooner or latter you are going to hit that time where you dont lose but you will lose more if you keep at it i would keep as your going and if you dont lose and after a month i would change to natural foods like fruit veggies soy protein to make my 1200 calories and you should lose again hope it helps
When you find yourself leveling off, then your body needs to
have increased exercise. You don't want to eat less or your
body will go into a distress mode and will start eating off the
reserves in starvation mode. So you don't want to do that
either. Try going for some strength training exercise next and
trying to build up some muscle. Try swimming for a start and
toning up all your muscles and strengthening them with laps
and leg kicking.
Try eating more fruit with your meals that provide more
bulk and always fresh, not canned. Drink more liquids to keep
you hydrated and take multi vitamins so that you aren't deprived of the elements your body needs while you are
dieting.
Don't be discouraged. You'll make it.
