Does slim fast work?

i used slim fast to lose weight brfore when i was 18 and it wroked great however i think that me being 18 at the time and being so young with a lot of energy and metabolism helped i was wondering if anyonw else has used it who was in theier late 20's and still had good results dropping weight with slim fast?
