Birthday present for myself?
Question:
My question is- should I see a dietitian and ask them for help with a diet plan/workout plan?
I've been going to the gym for 6 months, but I've hit a plateau, and I REALLY want to lose this weight!
I tend to eat out of boredom, and I still have a month of summer left in which I have NOTHING to do! So, I’m worried I’ll spend the month eating the 20lbs back out of boredom!
So, do you recommend I see a dietitian?
Or, if you are a dietitian, or have a link to a weight loss website with tips I’d really appreciate it if you’d give me some tips on meals/ at home workouts.
Any tips are greatly loved!
Thanks in advance!

Wow, that sounds just like me. I lost 20, have 10 to go and hit a plateau. I workout a lot but as you get closer to your goal it gets harder (well, of course you know that). I wouldn't waste money on a dietian though. Have you changed up your workout routine at all? I run a lot but I just started doing interval training. I run a normal pace for like 2 minutes, then I run crazy fast for a minute. I do this about 8 to 10 times in a row and although I am not too quick to say I have completely gotten out of the plateau stage, I did lose another 2 pounds since I started this about 2 weeks ago.
Let me know if that is an option for you or if you have already tried something similar.
As far as eating out of boredom...I give myself a manicure or just paint my nails. That way I can't eat anything for at least 20 minutes and by then (unless I was really hungry to begin with) I don't feel the need to eat. Brushing your teeth after meals also stops you from snacking too much (don't ask me why, but it seems to work).
