That is an interesting question. It would help to know if there is a medical problem behind it. Speed it up might mean something different to you than I. but overall, I would say for a healthy digestive tract, Eat fruit first thing in the morning. half an hour before you ingest anything else (including not drinking caffiene) . Fruits, on an empty stomach digest within 30 minutes for most, banana's 40 minutes. This provides fast vitamin and energy for the body functions without taxing the system. I should warn you though, that if up until now you haven't eaten fruit on a regular basis, start slow, like half an apple or half a banana because it can have a laxitive affect till your body gets use to it, if you over indulge. Try slicing up half an apple and use some "I can't believe it's not butter" spray, sprinkle on some splenda and cinnamin mix and microwave for less than a minute. Yum ! Yogart , if you don't have lactose problems, is great for the digestive system and I find it can help you metabolize your food faster because of the enzymes in it. Breaks it down faster. And the protein is very good for you! With fruit and yogart everyday, you will stay very , uh, regular too. lol. Add in a bowl of cereal like cherios for breakfast, will add fiber to your diet without excessive sugar, and is excellent for the digestive system and your total body too.
- now if digestive is really what you meant, that should do it.

If on the other hand you are talking about laxitives, that is another thing all together. Metabolism is different too. I've heard seaweed is great for that but do some reading first as you can overdo it, especially if you have medical problems and medicines it would interact with.

yup, easiest way to is to eat more fiber...like whole wheat bread, whole wheat rice, beans.

also caffeine helps.
