Does water really help your metabolism?
Question:
Answers:
Mens Health magazine stated your metabolism could increase up to 33% when drinking a tall glass of ice water before you eat. Since the water is very cold, your stomach has to build up heat to digest it, thus increasing your metabolism.
I don't know about helping your metabolism but they say if you eat a small portion of your meal and then drink water, to fill you up, you won't be as hungry, but it has never worked for me.
Scientifically, I can't explain it. But yes, water does help our metabolism process.
If you drink it ice cold it will actually burn some calories for your body to heat it up.
Pure water is a flush, it cleans your system of toxins and other harmful things. To help your metabolism you must eat more fresh vegetables and organic fruits and cut out junk foods. Anything that comes with extra salts or sugars other than naturally messes up your liver, bladder, stomach, colon and other internal organs and is not good for you as you can read here. To stay healthy you need to eat healthy and exercise and drink 6 to 8 bottles of pure water every day. Cut out as much red meat and pork as possible because no matter how much you chew it when it is digested some always sticks to the colon walls, this causes clotting and other harmful things. Hope this helps a little.
