It seems to me that squats will only make your thighs bigger. Don't worry about it because guys like thighs. As far as the gobble under the chin, you'd have to go on a diet; and that's not much fun. No more cola, chips, hamburgers, sweets, etc... I've lost 27 lbs in the last 9 months. I'm now at my normal weight.
Get on the bike. Eat enough carbs (oatmeal, yam) and protein (chicken breasts) to fuel your exercises. Only hard work will make you burn the extra fat.
Don't worry about thighs getting bigger. It's not that easy to build muscles especially in 4 weeks. And yes, guys do like strong legs on girls so either way you don't have to stress about it.
