What does maxing out mean when lifting weights?


Question:
When people say how much can u curl or bench press maxium, does that mean at least 1 rep of the most weight u can do? or do u have to do a number of reps of your heaviest weight.

Answers:
that means you lifted till you couldent no more
Its usually called the 1 rep max.
Maxing out is when you do a single rep of heaviest weight that you can lift.
Maxing out is when you lift the heaviest weight possible for one repitition.
