I am getting married in eight months and I need to loose weight...?
Question:
If I did some sit ups daily and some leg raises should I drop the dress sizes by then?
I eat healthy and on average I do a lot of house work and gardening so I am not just lazy? Anyone got any ideas?
Answers:
build muscle. it'll take your extra fat.(fat that didn't get burn)
i don't exactly remember how.
drink lots of water.(increases metabolism
workout.
eat healthy.
eat slowly, because it takes awhile for food to digest, so
it takes awhile to be full after eating.
eating slowly will allow you to know when you're full to eat less.
don't sit in front of the tv while eating. your mind spaces out, and since you didn't taste the food or pay attention you want more cuz you're not satisfied yet.
focus on your food while eating and you'll get satisfied and not eat as much.
do aerobic exercises
also take breaks.
try doing 2 thirty min. exercises then take a twenty min break.
it's proven that you lose more weight than not taking the 20 min at all.
eat healthier, and continue exercising
People, it's LOSE, not loose. Loose is when something fits baggy on you. Lose is to shed the excess weight!!!!!
Please, somebody get it right, just once!
By the way, continue exercising, start eating a little bit better.
You can find many weight loss tips here from calories to exercise, to motivation, to diets to avoid etc, hope this help
those are fine, but you need to do other overall strength training and cardio fitness and eat HEALTHY FOOD
Well I would make sure to keep a bit stricter of a diet, and probably eat a little bit less if you really are eating healthy. Hit around the 1700-1800 calorie per day range, taking in high fiber foods like apples, whole grains, etc. Make sure to get a good balance of vitamins and minerals and not sacrifice protein (eggs, and lean meats are good sources that aren't terribly high in calories).
While doing this, I'd try to run a solid mile atleast every other day. Exercise bike for sometime would work as well, just a good cardio workout, preferably in the aerobic range. This will make your body operate more efficiently and get rid of that extra without adding too much muscle tone that would keep you the same size and just look more toned.
okay well my mom and I started drinking this, and it helped us lose weight. you can go to the website. As far as I know it's good for you. It has flax seeds and all that health food stuff.
That extra weight is probably already 'loose'.
Easy peasy, keep eating healthily and doing your exercise but just make sure you stop any bread/yeast/sugar/dairy intake. You'll get down to what you want to be in weeks.
It's easy to replace these things with say soya, rice milk, oat milk, honey, molasses etc. and still be very healthy so it's really not that much of a sacrifice. I've said this hundreds of times to so many people and it ALWAYS works. I know, it's helped me lose 3.5st and keep it off for years :-) (though I don't eat any wheat either, but that's just too much to take away to start off with). It also takes weight off your body evenly, my thighs were always the bain of my weight issue and now they look fantastic! lol
Good luck!
Losing 3 dress sizes in 8 months is completely attainable. Most people do not realize the amount of calories they eat in a day. I stack up my calories by beverages. I like iced tea with sugar in it, which can accumulate to 250-500 extra calories a day depending on how much I drink! You should really start exercising at least 3x a week. Cardio workouts are the best way to burn calories, I really don't think sit-ups and leg raises only will do the trick, unless you do a lot. Swimming is wonderful too.
Keep a food diary and get on one of those websites that give you an idea of what you are eating, the portion sizes, and how many calories it is.
green tea only, no coffee
Follow the Atkins's Diet with your doctor's permission, after a physical. Get daily exercise, such as brisk walking, & drink plenty of water, as it will flush out the impurities in your body, which will help you to lose weight. Stay focused on this diet & you'll lose weight really well. I lost 130 lbs. in just under a year on this diet & now, I'm maintaining, but still counting carbs & watching what I eat. ( processed foods are a no no) Buy the paperback book "Atkin's Diet Revolution" & see if it's a diet for you. I was never hungry on this diet, & I also drank green tea daily. It helps with weight loss as well as thwart off certain cancers. I use the tea leaves, not the bags. Good luck...you can do it!
I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurities come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher and Medifast. If you want to learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. This was the first time I ever did a cleanse, it was easy and I feel better. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://diet4cleansing.tripod.com...
To really lose your weight for good. Eat healthily with lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs and brisk walk. They will increase your metabolism rate and burn fats.
I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.
Details such as meals, recipes, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog

To successfully lose weight, you must carry out
a plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.
Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionally
balanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity.
