Answers:
You need to contact the Michigan Dental Board of Examiners and complain!!

Complaint Hotline (800) 882-6006

fax- (517) 241-0093 or mail them at:

Michigan Department of Community Health
Bureau of Health Systems
PO Box 30664
Lansing, MI 48909

Take something for your anxiety next time before you go. And as for a place to complain.there is none. There is no medical malpractice I know of in getting annoyed with a uncooperative patient.

i think your lawyers office is a good start The American Dental Association should be able to take your complaint and actually find you a good dentist to continue your procedure.

http://public.smilemichigan.com/

this is the state board for michigan. scroll down to the bottom and there is a bullett for taking care of problems.

Sorry you had a bad experience. I have to see my oral surgon tomorrow. Take care, they are not all bad.

If you take a look at the website for the state of Michigan you can probably find a form to file a complaint with the state board.
In the meantime, you might want to take a look at citysearch.com to find a dentist with good reviews. I have been to a couple of horrible dentists in California that made me me not want to ever do back, so I totally understand you fear.
Good luck. I think Tina Marie said it best.
If he really assaulted you then by all means go after him. But.please understand his frustration with you: You went in seeking treatment, then refused it. You cost him time and money and you insulted him. (There is no greater insult than "I don't trust you".) He had the good sense to stop the exchange and send you on your way. You weren't the only one who lost something here.
