Cost is set by the orthodontist and is usually greater than for standard ortho treatment. Any movement of the teeth can cause discomfort. The reports I get from Invisalign wearers is about the same as for those with brackets and wires.
I have a friend who had them...they are expensive and hurt worse then regular braces. She said that she had to have them changed every week for 1 yr and the cost was very high
They do not cost nearly as much as regular braces and they will hurt because the teeth have to move...I have regular braces and they are constintly cutting into my cheek and gums...I would say get them Invisalighn!!
My invisalgin cost about $5,500 and yes they hurt. When you take your trays out for the first three days every two weeks it feels like you are pulling your teeth, and they do what they call "tooth stripping" where they cut of a little bit of your teeth to give them room to move, and that hurts really bad. (Just get normal braces.)
