Help! Is there a dentist in the house?

Question:
My front teeth keep chipping! I grind my teeth, and cant stop. Just had the chips filled, and they chipped again! What can I do? I am afraid to eat or sleep for fear of making them worse.

Answers:
Most likely the reason that you grind your teeth at night is due to the fact of stress. A suggestion is that you might see about talking to your dentist about some type of mouth piece that you could place on your teeth to help with this problem. Also in addition to this when it comes to eating you need to think about what you are eating that is causing the chipping. Ice for example will cause people's teeth to chip. Also another possible reason is the fact that you have weak enamel on your teeth. You could use a fluoride to help strengthen your teeth or something else. Talk to you dentist about it.

Other Answers:
you can buy teeth guards to wear while you sleep, but basically find out why you're grinding your teeth. For myself, it was stress. Stress was dealt with and now I don't grind them anymore.

First answer is right on.

One possible cause of grinding your teeth might be you are having a low blood sugar episode during the night.
