What about clove oil? I had to use it once and my toothache stopped right away.
PARACETAMOL
go and see a dentist
salt water, rinse and spit a few times, the pain should subside. Just dont swallow the salt water.
cloves.. stick one near the ache or in the hole. doesnt completely kill the pain but does numb some.
clove oil - without fail. Salt water rinsing is may cause you to retch which is not desireable at this stage.
Well, you can go to the dentist! You can have novacaine for them to perform dental work. I did last year when I was eight months pregnant and my doctor and dentist both said it would be fine. They actually wanted to take the tooth out but since it was a wisdom tooth and it would have required surgery they just did what they could to get rid of the pain until after the baby was born.
If you don't want to go to the dentist then you can take tylenol (acetaminaphen) but your toothache won't go away until you get the tooth fixed or removed.
try some tree tea oil
it's a natural antiseptic
Clove oil is very good. You might feel a burning sensation if the oil falls in your mouth. To prevent that, damp a cotton wool with a small quantity of Clove oil and put it on your tooth. The toothache has to go! If it doesn't then you have to consult a dentist!
During pregnancy, blood flow increases by about 30 to 50 percent so any pain that you have is just going to be that much worse. Go to the dentist even if it is just to have them look at it. Infections can cause complications in pregnancy. I had to have a tooth pulled when I was 8 mos. And you don't want to be taking tylenol constantly until you have your baby.
maybe try cloves, good luck was meant to have back wisdom pulled 2mrw but had to pay vet bill, oh well whats another fortnight only been puttin it off for 9 yrs
I really feel for you. Go to see your dentist. The pain isn't going to go away. Trust me it will get worst. You can try clove oil until you get there, but it really won't help that much.
You could try Anbesol or OraGel for temporary relief. You shouldn't get Novacaine while you are pregnant, but if you have a cavity then you can have it filled without painkillers. My kids, who grew up in Russia until they were 10 and 8, refuse any painkillers when having dental work done. even having their teeth pulled (they have a lot of dental problems due to poor early childhood toothcare in the orphanage). I don't know how they do it, personally!
When I was pregnant I got a really bad toothache too and put off getting treatment because the thought of anyone putting anything *near* my mouth made me want to puke--I had morning sickness for most of my pregnancy. Eventually the pain just went away, I'm not sure why. Maybe just one of those pregnancy aches and pains things.
It is safe to have dental work done anytime during your pregnancy. Dentists normally just see pregnant women for emergencies. The baby can deal with the temporary anesthetic a lot better than dealing with a chronic infection which is worse than the dental work.
