There are no good individual dental plans in the US. Most "good" coverage is through employers and it's still not very comprehensive.
Please avoid solisitations for so-called dental discount plans which are unregulated and often fail to provide what they promise.
The best way for individuals with no employer-furnished insurance is to self-insure. Set aside a "premium" payment in a special account each paycheck and use it as your substitute insurance. Most dental offices will give a small discount for paying in cash at time of service.
