Question:
Answers:
essentially the fillings are the same, amalgam, composite or other. However when it comes to crowns bridges metal dentures etc the quality of the material is thus different. You pay for what you get as the saying goes. Materials are expensive and involve lab work. its hard to appreciate the end result without knowing how it was achieved. The various compositions used in restorative materials may contain higher amounts of antimicrobial agents which incur cost to all parties, including the dentist.
So to answer: yes and also no.
Its the same filling. Only the price is higher !! In Private, it is tooth extraction in a five star hotel.
