Are cheek retractors supposed to hurt?
Question:
Answers:
on the outside- you mean on her skin , on her face?
retractors are not supposed to injure a patient in any way but she should tell her dentist and orthodontist in case she was having a reaction to perhaps a sterilization solution or maybe his latex gloves.

dunno, what they are. try arcwired.com for your cheek retractor question. If they are what I think they are, than no problem. They just hold your cheek away from you teeth for 3 minutes while they put the brackets on and cure the bonding compound. 1 year to go.
