What is the gum in the upper lip for?
Question:
Answers:
its called ure frenum and i would be surpised if it JUST fell out, i would suggest seeing the dentist,
Its suposed to hold your teeth in your mouth. If yours fell out you might want to get that looked at.
Um.. to hold in your teeth! If your gums are "falling out" I would advise you to see a dentist. I don't think it will cause a health problem, but I think a health problem caused that-- a serious one.
If it is what I am thinking of.it's the fascia that connects your upper lip to your face.and yes you need to have it looked at.
The reason is..your face is NOT connected by fascia or connective tissue to your facial muscle..this means that you could peel the skin of your face off like a banana peel. Trust me.I used to work in a morgue.and I have seen this done a million times.
However, I do not know why it would just "fall out".did you have an injury or infection? When in doubt..{have it} checked out!
