Bonded tooth?
Question:
Answers:
I don't think it's possible without professional help. I also have a bonded tooth in the front (funny story - not at the time, but anyway) and there isn't really anything that takes to it. And if you use the at home whitening stuff, you can have weird discoloration between the real and the fake.
My best suggestion is to get one of those dental picks and try to clean your teeth similar to what the dentist uses. You can usually find them in the drug store by the dental section.
Other Answers:
if you have any kind of dentistry done to your teeth,
NO over the counter , whitening process will work, these are only for natural teeth enamel,
You can only have them whitened by your dentist, I know this is more expensive then the store brands but it's your only option,
Ask your dentist if they can arrange a payment schedule for you, and make monthly payments.
If you do try any of the home whitening products you will end up with all your natural teeth, whitening, with the bonded tooth, looking worse, then it did to begin with.
The year I turned 30, I had my tooth rebonded. (I ran into a truck on my bike when I was like 12) and he used a ceramic material simular to what he uses to fill cavities. He also billed it to my insurance as a cavity, so that was cool. I haven't had any problems with discoloration at all, and that was seven years ago! As a dental assistant, if you have had ANY dental work done it CAN NOT be bleached by ANY product, over the counter or in the dental office, it is the color it is FOREVER! What you can do is go in and have the bonding redone, or just go in and get a veener over the bonding, and trust me, do all of your bleaching on your other teeth before you get the one in question redone so it will match, also, go just a shade or two whiter than the other teeth so that if you decide to have in office bleaching, you wont have this problem again with an expensive veener!!
