I don't know about absess's, but I do know that when working overseas I cracked one of my teeth something horrible while grinding them. IT still hurts and it has been 2 years since I did it. Dentist (after it had been repaired) said there was nothing wrong though.just sensitive. yes. Bruxism can cause abscesses
