the baking soda can wear the enamel on your teeth
you shouldn't have to use a lot of baking soda.
Baking soda is the best method of natural homemade remedies in teeth whitening
It not harsh or abrasive and won't damage your gums or teeth enamel like some grity whiteners, and in a consumer report - proved to be the best method to get a whiter smile
Look for toothpastes containing baking soda for a better formula
the taste make you wanna puke but other then that its ok
No side effects, unless you have a sodium intolerance. FYI, there are a lot of toothpastes with dental-grade baking soda in them these days to help whiten teeth.
Not that I am aware of, baking soda is very safe, it helps your teeth to stay whiter, plus promotes fresh breath so you get 2 for 1. Just don't ever use peroxide to whiten your teeth, it can give you a hairy tongue. My dentist told me that one.
If you want your teeth to be a brighter white, I just bought something to try called "White Light", it uses a tiny light and you put solution on your teeth first. It costs around $18-$20 depending on where you buy it. I found mine at the drug store, a Walgreens. You might be able to order it at their online store. Beauty pageant contestants use it, so I figured, it can't be too bad lol.
Heard that it wears down the enamel of the tooth in time but my mother, grandmother, aunts and uncles teeth look wonderful after at least 40 years of usage. Think that is some myth that toothpaste company owners or investors invented to continue the sales of toothpaste. It most certainly works for brightening the teeth.
