Application of CRT test for assessment of enamel solubility?

Question:

Answers:
the CRT (caries risk test) is a very qualitative assessment of a given patient's risk for caries using various risk factors (e.g. caries within the last 3 years, removable/fixed appliances, salivary gland dysfunction, dietary habits, etc) and various preventive factors (brushing/flossing frequency, sugar-alcohol gums, etc).

as far as i know, these have no direct correlation to the solubility of enamel. carbonated hydroxyapetite, which is a much more soluble enamel crystal than fluorapetite, or fluoridated enamel, in acid environments. the only way to see if your enamel is more soluble in acid would be to take a surface chip of enamel off your teeth and try to dissolve it in acid. since these tests have been performed ad nauseum in a test tube, you'd be better off just making sure your enamel receives enough topical fluoride to strengthen your enamel.
What's CRT test? The only thing I can think of it "cathode ray tube," but that makes no sense to me.
