how to improve gums?

what to do if one have sensitive gums or if bleeds or if have big pockets between gums? what is the best thing to do

how old do you have to be to get your teeth whitened?

Answers:
#1, go see a dentist. #2, start brushing twice a day, and flossing once per day. #3, the Crest Pro-Health rinse is great. At this point, Listerine is a bad idea because of the alcohol. It dries the tissue, which will actually irritate it more than it already is.
You can do warm salt water rinses a couple times a day to help with the bleeding and irritation (1 tablespoon per glass of water). Also, electric toothbrushes do an amazing job, much better than a regular toothbrush. I know they are expensive but they are worth it. Check with your dentist, they may sell them in their office for cheaper than what they sell for in a store. Whatever you do, you need to get this under control because the bone loss caused by periodontal (gum) disease is not reversible. The only thing you can do is bone grafting which is pretty expensive.
