Lip problems? Please help!?

Question:

Hey guys, I go to this dentist every week and his assistants are a little "harsh" Today I went and the assistant was working in my mouth, he pulled it to the point where it was extremely painful! It was for about 5 seconds or so. I go once every month and the assistants always do this, now I have a question. There is no way it can cause damage to my lips right?

What about them being stretched out over time as a resault of this? Like those african tribes lol

That happens more than you think, and unfortunately we, as the doctor, have no way of knowing unless you stop and say, "it hurts".

As far as damaging your lip, not a chance. You'd have to stretch your lip for several months in duration for a change to occur.

wait first you said you go once a week and then you go once a month....and why are you going to the dentist so often...and what is he doing? pulling what? am i allowed to call "bogus" like they do on love line?
