is it dangerous to swollow my spit with an abcess in my tooth?
Question:
Answers:
An abcess is an infection in the pulp of your tooth. Your tooth probably hurts because it has decayed more. You need to get to the dentist before it DOES abcess, your saliva is the least of your worries because the infection can get into your bloodstream from inside your tooth.

It is dangerous to do so anyway because of infection. You will get extremely sick without dental treatment and antibiotics. Even if you do not have insurance, maybe a local dentist will be able to provide an installment payment plan to pay for the root canal/crown or extraction. Get it taken care of immediately!
Sovereign is right; you can get the infection into your bloodstream, which is extremely dangerous, you really need to have that fixed. As for swallowing the spit, any infectious matter in the spit will be killed by your stomach acid.
There are usually free places you can go to. They have them in just about every city.
It's not dangerous to swallow your spit .. but the great risk is that a tooth access can casue a fatal direct infection in the brain vessels or in the heart .. causing serious illness .. you got to take antibiotic and to treat the cause ..
