grinding teeth in sleep?

Question:
I've been grinding my teeth alot more than usual in the last week or so, I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to prevent this from happening or atleast make it less painful. I have tried useing a mouth gaurd for wrestleing that forms to your teeth, but it made it hard to fall asleep and it hurt my gums. I've been grinding my teeth and clenching my jaw for a real long time, but it's not constant it's off and on. I don't know why it happens, but it's starting to really hurt alot during the day and when I'm eating. So if anyone has a solution or anything I really appreciate it alot.

Answers:
BRUXISM is what you suffer from. Commonly this problem gets relieved after deworming, which is to be repeated after a fortnight. You may also like to go this site:http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/bruxism/DS00337/DSECTION=1

Best wishes.
Just recently they have come out with a device that you put in your mouth that is a clear plastic that keeps you from doing this and it can be found at most drug stores, sure woth a try.
