If you pick them i'm sure it will make them look naster. I'm sure you don't want to have nasty looking hands so just remember that when you start to pick. Thats what I do when I go to pick my cuticles. Also really try to get rid of them. Use really good cream or even try filing them off gently. There may also be over the counter treatments that can help.
