May ask a stupid question but are you from Doncaster south Yorkshire in UK ??

I'm in Sheffield and i know it a long way to come and i don't know if you can use dentist outside of your town, but one dentist that is NHS that is taking people on as it open up to help people on waiting list, it is a teaching dentist but they have dentist that are qualified to take tooth out and other work that a student can not do. they are very friendly people too. I was only waiting for 2month from putting my name down to getting a first seen, and that was this year, and i also seen them in emergency too and hardly busy always fit me in.

the place is called wheata place dental clinic, 570 wordsworth avenue s5 9jh. it is in parson cross area of Sheffield,. you have to ring to get the number as i only can find my letter with the address at the moment, but hope that helps.

get in the Tardis and go back to the early 70's
Get your g.p to get you an appointment with an orthodontist.

There may be one somewhere that will treat children under the age of 16.

Phone N.H.S Direct they will have phone numbers of where a child can go for help

It is easier to get for a child altho still bloody hard to find but don't give up or take no for an answer.
Anyone over the age of 16 has no chance at all.
visit your general hospital and they will refer you to a dental hospital which is free
Dental treatment and surgery) is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges all surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients as dental surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your dental treatment and surgery surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star .

My cousin got her dental work done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company. She paid just 30% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. .hope this helps

Im a dental nurse, and at the moment since the new contract has came in its almost impossible to find an NHS dentist. Its not like at a doctors where you have to live in the area, if you are willing to travel you could go and see a dentist/orthodontist anywhere in the country. We have patients that come over from Spain to see us in Hertfordshire!. Its not fair that your daughter has to wait,if you have friends that live out of Doncaster ask them to get you a few numbers, good luck.
Ah the joys of multi-cultural, open boardered, liberal britain. France and Germany dont seem to have this problem..
Write to your MP, your council, The media, set up a website, handout flyers, protest outside of Dental surgeries and Govt. offices..or go private.
