Should I get a consultation before getting my teeth whitened?
Question:
Answers:
If a dentist is doing the whitening, then I'm sure they know what they are doing; therefore, you probably won't need a consultation beforehand. If you're doing the whitening yourself, the only reason I would see that you might need an appointment is if you are unsure of the product you are using. Crest whitestrips work well, but like many others cause sensitivity if you're not used to them! Good luck.and hope I helped!

Yes you should !,, remember there your teeth you wish to keep them and the whitening may damage your teeth or gums !
A consultation is not necessary. Most general dentists can help you with whitening your teeth. Good luck and I'm sure you will be pleased with the results.
if this is the first time you can have some knowledge about it.but there is no side effects.but i am sure your gonna have sensitivity for short time like everybody.this is so common. and also result will be more effective than over the counter stuff.be cause of the dosage of the medicine.just boring procedure be cause it takes an hour but last long. if you good care of it. after the procedure one week so important.try to do not drink coffe ,red wine and colorfull foods otherwise you need to brush well and keep clean.
good luck!
If you are considering using an over the counter product to whiten your teeth I personally would not get a consult from a dentist. Make sure to follow the directions to the letter. If you are going to have your teeth whitened by a professional, they will consult with you at the time of the appointment and thus you may make an educated decision. Good Luck !
