Dentist Negligence. Is is possible to sue a NHS dentist for negligence.?
Question:
Answers:
Yes, all NHS practises inluding dentists have an nongovernmental organisation to whom you should address you complaint. Contact your nearest big hosptial to see if they can point you in the right direction, get photos, make statements, go and speak with a solicitor.
Most solicitors will offer free surgery at least once every week, Citizens advice will tell you who and when in your area.
Persist, it annoys me that in this country we wont complain as we think we are getting free health/dental care. Look at wage slip at the end of the month we you don't feel like making that call or writing that complaint letter, this care paid for by the state costs me and you a hell of lot of money!
Other Answers:
Yes if there negligent, NHS or not you take there **** to court, if you didn't i wouldn't want that same dentist working on my gob having got away with negligence in his past. x
Yes my friend did.
Yes, it's possible to sue any medical practitioner for negligence - it doesn't matter that you've been exempt from payments.
See a solicitor.
Contact your dentist first. how do you know it is negligence?? is it a failure of communication? unrealistic expectations?
get their side of the story.if your still not happy contact the British dental association or ideally the local health authority.
if a patient complained to me that is were i would send them
best of luck.hope it all gets sorted.
yes you can see a solicitor you get a free half hour and phone the primary health found in phone book as there are in charge of the Dr's and dentist or see citizens advice
yes, but you have to do it straight away without going to see another dentist and trying to patch things up. If there is a dentist in between, you have no chance of any compensation...sorry
