The best thing for inside the mouth is toothpaste directly. If it is on your lip or outter mouth believe it or not is fingernail polish remover. Crazy I know.

You can buy something at the pharmacy called Oraseal or Orabase. It is a liquid form with an applicator stick, once you apply the liquid it seals the canker sore which helps with the pain and the healing of it. It is relatively inexpensive.
Get some com-ex and apply it 4 time's a day.Wash them with a bacterial soap. And wash your hand's every time you touch them and wash your hand's 4 time's a day.This help clear and keep it from spreading. Use a Q-tip and put some hydrogen peroxide on it a couple times a day . my mom always did that when I was younger and it made them go away more quickly.
