Why be nervous?! its fun really. if they actually have to do anything it wont hurt at all .. they put that numbing stuff. Take deep breaths lol. You might have like a dentist phobia.
Human beings feel anxious when they are going to a new place, joining a new job/school..etc., It is natural. To get rid of anxiety is just think once..that visiting dentist is a must or u can skip.If it is a must, there is no need to be anxious. It foryour better health you are going to visit. All the best.don't be too anxious just take a deep breath
That happens every time I go to the dentist, even though I love my dentist, and no one in his office has ever caused me even a little pain. Just take lots of slow deep breaths.
My dentist prescribes me a mild sedative.
try some sedatives(only if you dont have any systemic complications or take some other medicine. it may cause cross Acton)
chlorodiazpoxide: 5 mg will be enough
Diazepam:2 mg
1 hour before your appointment.
Try to stay calm I know it is hard. I also hate going to the dentist, and feel like you do. Try Rescue Remedy, available from chemist. Take 4 sprays directly on your tongue.
And deep breathing
Do some research on breathing exercises of Yoga. One of it is called Pranayam in which inhaling and exhaling of breath with certain manner is done which will give you lot of calmness. It is just a matter of applying concentration at one chosen point as may be in your thought. It is certainly better than any bloody other prescribed medication. It causes no side effects.
