Wisdom Tooth or Infection?

Question: OK. I have this sore in the back of my mouth that showed up the other day. It feels like there is a tooth poking through, but if I run my tongue on the outside of my gum where I think it's coming in I get this weird flavor and it's freaking me out.

The only way I can describe the flavor would be (I swear I'm not being gross on purpose here) is the flavor I get when I give a girl oral sex. That's really the only thing I can match the taste to. I'm sorry if that's gross or offends anyone.

Answers:
Brush the tooth. If it hurts like total hell when you inpact just the tooth then it is an infection. If you brush the gum right near the took and it hurts more it is a wisdom tooth.
