Why dont you go back to the place you got your braces fitted and ask for some there , if they done have any just keep shopping around or you could look on ebay for some.
ASDA. has wax there to buy. BUT.. If you cant find any.. my suggest is, buy a candle light it.. once is starts to soften.. pick a piece off and place it on the brackets that are causing you the problems. It's the exact same thing. Wax is wax, no matter where you get it from! Although, get an 'unscent' candle, if you do that way. Otherwise, it might taste bad.
I suggest use a paste wax for automobiles. Do not swallow it though
Go to the chemists or just hop in to the dentist and ask him or her for some
my son has braces and i always get him packs from orthodontist who changes his braces .chemists sell it too
