teeth question?
Question:
Answers:
In my opinion the cause is not nail biting. But the easiest way to correct this by going to an Orthodontist. If it is minor, they can probably correct it with a retainer (called a spring aligner). Anything more than than simple correction may require Invisalign or braces. Also ask the Orthodontist about Red/White and Blue appliance by AOA lab. This works like Invisalign but does not cost as much.
Other Answers:
if it's not affecting your bite, you could probably get by without fixing it - but if it bothers you appearance wise, you'll have to see an orthodontist. It's possible that since it's mild, you could get by with just using a retainer at night. ask you dentist about what options are available for you.
its best to get braces thats positive way to know ur gonna get ur straight teeth back
I doubt bitting caused it. Call it herititary. I sucked my thumb for far too long, and it didnt result in buck teeth. Yet, my sister had buck teeth. She didnt have my habit either.
First of all it was NOT the nail biting. Sorry you need braces try Invisalign
Check out Invisalign site (link in source)and talk with your dentist on if this would be an option that you could pursue.
Invisalign straightens your teeth with a series of clear, virtually invisible custom-molded aligners.
