hi umm i went to the dentist too get 2 filings and they still hurt what shouldi i do?

Question:
oh and i am not going back there so dont sujesst go to the dentist/doctur cos i wont choose you as da best answer!!

Answers:
If they were the composite fillings (tooth colored) than it could be that they are "too high". If this is the case, you need to have the dentist smooth them down which is very easy! No need to be numb and will only take a minute or two. Good luck!

Other Answers:
well, how long has it been since you got them? i had a few fillings when i was a kid, and once it hurt for 2 weeks.

Endure the pain. it will hurt for a day or two that is normal, and take panadol or advil. sleeping all day is also good. You can take tylenol every 4 hours and motrin every 4 hours (alternate, so that every 2 hours you are taking something). This is probably because they have irritated the nerve that the tooth is conneccted to and there is some swelling to it. It might take a few days for this to go away. If the filling is a deep one. it could even take longer. You can also try some oil of clove (dilute with a small amount of water). You can find it at your local pharmacy. You might also want to try toothpaste for sensitive teeth.. it takes awhile for it to really work but it will work.
Hope this helps you out.
