Cavities filled months ago, still kill. Need advice.?

Question:
Ok, i had a bunch of cavities filled in the beginning of this year and i kept on going back a couple times a month or so because they were sensitive to cold/hot, biting and sometimes sweets..they killed. I had to use my tongue to keep the cold away from my teeth because it was the worst pain. I had cavities on all sides of my mouth except one, so you can imagine how much it sucked to eat or drink with every side hurting. They kept testing them with that paper strip thing and grinding down the fillings more, but it never helped. Finally, after about 7 months of suffering, (i did put off calling for a few weeks at times because i hoped it would get better)they just redid them all and now they hurt even worse, especially before i go to bed and in the morning. It's been over a week. I dont think i grind my teeth because i've had TONS of cavities before and i never had any pain after. These were my first fillings with my new dentist. He said it's not the fillings and doesnt know what. Help!

Answers:
Sounds like they've had to drill away enough of your teeth that the fillings are too close to the nerve. I think you're going to need root canals and crowns, but check with your dentist to see if there is an easier solution.
first of all, brush your teeth and lay off on the sweets...your teeth are OBVIOUSELY rotting. it is very common for your filling to still hurt afterward....heck, even my CROWNS hurt, and there is no root in them...i dont know what else to tell you other than to keep up good oral hygeine...
