I am on medicare and medicaid and need emergency dental work, does any one know if an extraction is covered?
Question:
Answers:
Dental coverage for medicaid differs from state to state. In the state I reside in after the age of twenty medicaid will only cover extractions and the x-ray. Medicaid will not pay for the emergency exam though so you will have to pay for that portion out of pocket. Check with your local office and see what your medicaid will pay for.
