how old do you have to be to get your teeth whitened?
Question:

I don't think there's any age limit. I felt my teeth were yellow (even showed up yellow in pictures). I've used the Crest Whitestrips, and they worked really well. Also, all of my friends have used them, and their teeth have gotten significantly whiter too. My teeth are extremely white. You may be able to use those if you are looking for something cheaper than professional teeth whitening. They last 18 months, but I'm pretty sure you can extend that or maintain it if you:
1. Stay away from drinks that will stain your teeth (coffee, some juices, sodas, etc.). If you want to drink those, use a straw.
2. Try to avoid foods that will stain your teeth (if you eat them, try brushing your teeth right after).
3. Keep regular hygiene - brush at least 2-3 times a day especially after a meal, floss, gargle with mouthwash
Right after using the strips, you may feel increased sensitivity in your teeth, but this is normal because it will go away after a while.

in most places 18
i think you must brush your teeth enough..3 times a day..or after meal time. then your teeth will be okay. no need for the whitening..kinda fake.
According to my orthodontist, there is no age limit for teeth whitening, due to the fact that the procedure was originally designed to help older people reduce aging-induced teeth stains.
I was 16 when i got mine off and i just turned 17 but started when i was 16. My bottom ones were also yellow a little bit and i must say that i used whitening strips and they did help. Go for it.
Your not too young to have your teeth whitened, but you should talk to your Dentist to help you pick a brand or method that he/she feels is safe for you. Also, try not to overdo it, it can become unhealthy if you do it too much.
I think these should help you:

You are old enough to whiten your teeth. If your teeth become sensitive then do once a day or do it 2-3's a week. It really works.
