How much do braces cost?

Question:
I'm getting braces in Oregon and am wondering how much does it cost. Will insurance pay for it?

Answers:
Call your insurance company and ask what their reimbursement rates are. Also, the cost varies by the type you get. The traditonal braces (squares fixed to the teeth and wires) are the cheapest, while the Invisalign are the most expensive. Expect the cost to be in the ballpark of $3000.

It depends on your insurance company.
Mine cost $2,500 with Tyson insurance. It ranges from $2,500 to $6,000, it depends on how bad it is and who u use and what type of insurance.
about 5 grand
If your dental plan covers orthodontics- yes you will have coverage. Usually they cover 50% up to about a $1,000 max. Braces usually cost anywhere from 3,000-5,000 depending on overbite etc.... another cost to think about is if you want clear or silver brackets. clear is the more expensive.
about $4,000
