Graphic- Yellow stringlike scab came out of wisdom tooth extraction site....its been 7 days....dry socket?

Question:

it did not seem like the entire clot, just the top of it. Also, it's from my top left wisdom tooth site.....do you think I am ok? Its been an hour...no pain.....is this just healing, i.e. like a scab falling off?

Just keep an eye on it. I have no idea what it is.

It could be some of the disposable packing the filled the socket with the help avoid a dry socket. I don't know really what it is, just a idea.

It could just be a suture, let it be. If you develop any pain call your dentist right away, I doubt it is dry socket, people with a dry socket are in agony.
