have you ever had ginitivis?
Question:
Answers:
I had gingivitis, and unfortunately it progressed into periodontal disease. You must see a dentist. There is no reason to be scared. When you see a dentist, he will simply examine your teeth and gums and tell you what type of treatment is needed (depending on the state of your gums). If you wait, this disease can surely do more damage as time passes, it did to me. Why wait until it is going to be difficult to control? I have to spend a lot of time each day brushing/flossing/rinsing, and I take a prescription pill, and I use a prescription mouthwash. I've had scaling and root planing done (twice), and it helped. There was no pain involved, and the depth of my pockets decreased. However, both my dentist and periodontist agree that I will probably need surgery soon. I will forever be fighting this disease, I only wish I had taken care of it in its early stages. I'm not trying to scare you, I just want you to know of one possible outcome caused by waiting. DO NOT WAIT. Please, please, please - go NOW to the dentist before you (may) end up like me.
one of my friends had gingivitis; they didn't need to take any teeth or anything, but i do remember her having gum surgery, though that may be unrelated
