Why am I having pain on one side of my face?
Question:
I don't have any pain on the left side of my face where my impacted wisdom tooth is.
Answers:
It could be refereed pain. Pain coming from either another tooth in that area or even above that area. The mouth is very tricky when it comes to figuring out where the actual pain is coming from. best thing to do is go to your dentist. until then try taking some Advil (no more then 800mg every 6 hours). You can also put ice on that side of your mouth which can help with the pain and if you have any swelling. Put the ice on for 10 Min's, take it off for 10 and then back on for 10. Do this for 30 Min's. What ever you do, DONT PUT HEAT ON IT! If you have an infection, it can get worse. Good luck.

Please address this question to your dentist.
maybe you have trigeminal neuralgia ,it is caused by an abnormality in the nerves carrying pain signals from the face area.you descrbed quite a wide area of pain , also you didnt say if your face is tender(painful to touch)
another possibility is problem with the temporo mandibular joint (the upper hinge of your jaw), it could give this picture but pain is related to chewing movements and talking.
you should give more details really like
how long have you had this particular problem
what nature is the pain
does it go away with painkillers
what makes the pain worse
what makes it better
any other problems that accompany this pain(fever, dizziness, runny nose, tearing eyes, etc)
how old are you and what sex and what do you do
