I have a question about a tooth ache. Please help me!!?

Question:
I have an impacted wisdom tooth on my left side however, I have lots of pain on my RIGHT side of my face. My ear, head, cheek, and jaw throb. I don't have any more wisdom teeth on that side anymore so I don't know what is going on. Could my impacted wisdom tooth be causing referred pain on the OTHER side of my mouth?

Answers:
IT'S GIVING OFF NERVE PROBLEMS BECAUSE IT'S A TEETH, AND ONCE 1 HURT EVERYTHING ELSE HURTS ALSO. . THE NERVE FROM THAT SIDE OF THE MOUTH IS IMPACTING ALSO ON THE OTHER SIDE F YOUR MOUTH. GETTING THAT TOOTH OUT WILL END THAT PAIN ON BOTH SIDES, BUT UNTIL THEN TRY 800MG MOTRIN OR TYLENOL.

Other Answers:
now take two advils,,and i think you should take an appointment with a desntist,,but advil will let go of the pain for now..im sure it will work

yes and it could be either infected or food caught in it. Get a glass of hot water (as hot as you can possible stand it and put regular kitchen salt in it and swish it around do these several times a day and it should feel better, but check with your dentist too. This is possible as it may struck a nerve that is sending the pain to the other side of your face. very possible but I would take alieve until it is taken out. mention this to Dentist also in case he needs to check for infection.

TYLENOL AND WASH YOUR MOUTH OUT A FEW TIMES A DAY WITH PEROXIDE TO RULE OUT INFECTIONS

Probably. My wisdom teeth make my molars hurt like I have a cavity. My dentist swears I don't and it is because of my wisdom teeth. Take excedrin, it's the best.

Until you get to a dentist try taking CLOVE powder/the spice and pack it in there with your finger. The taste might bother you but your pain will stop. Definatly. I had an impacted wisdom tooth and it did that. Or you might have a cavity or chipped tooth. That can also cause severe pain.

It might be because your teeth on the right are shifting from the pressure from the left.
