What's the suckiest thing about getting braces?

Not being able to eat Swedish Fish. lol
It's not painful, more like uncomfortable. Take Advil before you go, if you can take it.
No needles, no gas. It's a simple procedure. When you go, the assistant will clean up your teeth, talk to you, place a rubber damn, and ortho cement, then the orthodontist will place the brackets and bands if you need them on, then the wires. It takes around an hour. You will go every 6-9 weeks at first, then you have more frequent visits. Depending on your teeth they will stay on from 1-4 years, but it's all good. The end result is well worth it. A beautiful smile is well.. beautiful.
I hope this is helpful.

The suckiest would be the tightening of the wires every 3 months. My daughter has them and they don't knock you out or put a needle in you. The glue the brackets onto your teeth then string the wires through and thats it. Then every 3 months you go back to have them tightened and per my daughter, that is when it hurts the worse. But you'll do great, there is no major proceedure or going under the knife for this.
The pain to eat when you first get them. After that, at tightening, it's not as bad, but still not fun. the worst thing is that I had to wear them for 1.5 years
Having to wear the retainer for the rest of your life.
Getting punched in the mouth when you get into a fight and getting your lip stuck.
sumtimes wen ur talkin ur top lips gets stuk on the top of ur braces
