What is a natural way to get rid of pain from sensitive teeth (see details)?

Question:
I already use sensodine toothpaste and avoid really cold or hot foods. What can I do to get rid of the pain I'm having from just breathing air or drinking room temperature water?

Answers:
meleleuca oil (Tea Trea oil) works. Better and cheaper than sensidine is crest sensitive! also, DON"T STOP BRUSHING! Try melting asprin on it too. There is a new product that you paint on your sensitive teeth that is supposed to work well. It is from the makers of origel I believe you can find it at your local Wal-Mart.

Other than that - I recomend going to the dentist befor it gets worse!

Man, I have that too! I went to the dentist, she took an xray and said she couldn't find anything wrong. She thought that maybe I was grinding my teeth at night which would increase their sensitivity and ground down the peak on my molar so it would move my bite. So in retrospect I spent a hundred bucks for the dentist to fix my chronic toothache. I lost a day of work, she ground my tooth down and I still have a toothache!

One thing you can try is clove oil. That works surprisingly well.

Go to the dentist, you might have a cavity. Also, do you just brush teeth with the sensodite toothpaste? My doctor tells patients to cover tooths that are sensitive with sensodine at night and sleep with it. Try that if it won't help go to the dentist.
