If Tartar is bad for your teeth, why do they have Tartar Sauce??

On toothpaste commercials, they say the product protects against Tartar, why then do they serve Tartar Sauce with Fish?? Does the Tartar Sauce contain stuff that is bad for your teeth??

First off, tarter sauce is pickle relish and mayo. But even if it wasn't, since animal fat is bad for your heart rate, why do they have hamburgers? If sugar is bad for your body, why do they have candy? If salt is bad for your blood pressure, why do they have salt shakers on every table? If.. I could go on. Unfortunately, this country no longer cares what is good for you, only what tastes good or feels good. A little of something not good for you is okay, but honestly, enough is enough.
